How much flooring should I buy, and how much will it cost?
One thing that personally annoys me when searching the web or shopping online, is when I can see the products, learn all about them, even picture them in my own home or work environment only to get no idea about how much it will cost.
Below we have given you a rough guide. For a more precise price, please call us or book an appointment.
Important - please read:
It must be clear that this price guide is only made available to you as a guide (rough price) to give you an idea of what a particular flooring product may cost. There are so many variables to consider such as whether old flooring needs to be removed and disposed of, preparation work that needs to be done to complete your installation, travel, freight, door trims, moulds and transitions, to name but a few.
To obtain a firm price and to discuss any concerns that may impact on the overall cost of your flooring, we recommend that you book an appointment or contact us.
To keep things simple we have made 3 price points:
Good (Budget)
Better (Mid Range)
Best (Top shelf quality)
We also show most products as a supply only or a supplied and fitted option.
Fitted options include underlay whereas Supply Only prices do not as underlay may not be required.
All price estimates are stated per square metres (sqm or m2) for your convenience.
The number of square metres that you require can be calculated by multiplying the longest length of the room by the widest width. Due to the nature of most flooring products and other variables you should allow a minimum of an additional 10% for waste.
So for a room that is 4 m long and 4 m wide, you should allow 16sqm plus 1.6sqm waste totalling 17.6sqm
It is important to remember that this guide is just that - a guide. There are many flooring products available in many different price ranges. This guide does not include promotional products or any other special offers. If you are looking for something out of the ordinary, please give us a call or contact us.
(Prices shown are per square metre (sqm) and inclusive of GST)
^^ Pricing for Polished concrete and Epoxy coatings is dependent on the quality of the concrete finish. A site survey is recommended. Estimated prices shown above are based on applying the finish to newly laid concrete.
